Unknown disease traced to eating bat kills over 50 people in Congo

An unknown illness first discovered in three kids who ate a bat carcass killed over 50 people in the Democratic Republic of Congo over the past five weeks, WHO said. Several deaths took place within 48 hours of the onset of symptoms. Primary symptoms include fever, chills, headache, myalgia, body aches, sweating, rhinorrhea, neck stiffness, cough, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps.
