Unknown persons steal ₹14 cr from Central Bank of India

Central Bank of India reported that ₹13.97 crore was siphoned off from its settlement account with RBI via 187 unauthorised transfers between October 15 and 17. It said unknown persons accessed the central SFMS server of RBI subsidiary IFTAS and sent the funds to 36 different bank accounts. The bank's team couldn't even find the 187 transactions in its records.
