Unsafe shortcut may have led to T'gana bus accident: Police

A senior police officer has said the bus accident in Telangana on Tuesday, which killed at least 57 people, may have been caused by factors like a dangerous shortcut and the bus being overcrowded. The authorities had earlier put barricades to discourage buses from taking the road where the accident took place, but it was removed due to public pressure.
