UNSC P5 have turned into warlords: Brazil Prez at global left meet
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said the five permanent members of the UN Security Council have turned into "warlords". At a meeting of the global left in Barcelona, he urged the UN to take action in the current global situation, and said, "The UN cannot stay silent...[when] the world spends $2.7 trillion on weapons while people go hungry."
