Unsubstantiated claims: Govt as Khalistani separatist Pannun sues over 'murder plot'

After Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun filed a case against Indian government, alleging a plot to murder him, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, "These are completely unwarranted and unsubstantiated imputations." Misri said the filing of the case in a US court doesn't "change our views about the underlying situation". He said Pannun's Sikhs For Justice is an "unlawful organisation".
