UP among 3 poorest states as per NITI Aayog’s ranking: Akhilesh

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said under the BJP government, Uttar Pradesh is among the three poorest states in India as per NITI Aayog's multidimensional poverty index. "[UP] ranks third in terms of malnutrition rate," Yadav said. Adding that UP ranks last in the child and adolescent mortality rate category, he said, "These are the badges of failure of BJP government."
