UP authorities probe alleged conversion of Sikhs to Christianity

The district authority in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit launched a probe into allegations of widespread conversion of Sikhs into Christianity. All India Sikh Punjabi Welfare Council brought the matter to the authority's notice and said about 3,000 Sikhs had recently been converted to Christianity. "Nepali pastors are forcibly converting individuals through inducements," a member of the delegation said.
