UP bans Chinese manja; murder case to be filed if it causes death

CM Yogi Adityanath on Thursday imposed a complete ban on the sale of Chinese kite strings (manja) in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi also directed that anyone responsible for deaths caused by Chinese manja will be held accountable for murder. The move comes after the state government took cognisance of multiple accidents linked to Chinese manja.
