UP becomes 1st state to offer ₹1 crore accident cover for teachers, staff

UP CM Yogi Adityanath launched the 'Mukhya Mantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana' and announced insurance benefits for teachers. Under an MoU with State Bank of India, permanent teachers and staff will receive ₹1 crore personal accident cover, and up to ₹1.60 crore air accident insurance cover in the event of an accident. UP became first state to implement the scheme.
