UP bride takes 'baaraat' to groom's house breaking tradition

A bride arrived at the groom's residence in Varanasi's Nayepur village in a horse-drawn cart, accompanied by the baaraat. The groom's father had requested the bride to bring the baaraat ahead of the wedding stating that he wanted to spread the message of respecting women and asserting the idea of gender equality.
