UP CM orders construction of more jails to resolve overcrowding

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered the construction of new jails and more barracks in old jails to solve the issue of overcrowding. He said that sanitary napkins, dispensers and incinerator facility should be available at women's help desk in prisons. "Land should be purchased for the construction of district jails in Amroha, Sambhal, Shamli, and Muzaffarnagar," he added.
