UP CM Yogi Adityanath wins Gorakhpur Urban in his 1st Assembly election

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Yogi Adityanath on Thursday won the Gorakhpur Urban seat by a margin of over 50,000 votes in his first Assembly election. Adityanath won against Samajwadi Party candidate Subhawati Upendra Dutt Shukla, who got the second-highest votes polled. BJP looks set to retain UP with trends suggesting it'll win around 250 seats.
