UP court grants bail to 48 CAA protesters accused of 'rioting' by police

A court in Uttar Pradesh has granted bail to 48 people accused by the police of rioting and attempted murder during last month's protests over CAA. No evidence has been presented that showed that the mob fired at the cops, as claimed by the police in its FIR, the court said. A total of 83 were arrested after the clashes.
