UP Delhi-Meerut RRTS hits 50 lakh commuters, full ops by 2025

Since its launch in October 2023, the Uttar Pradesh section of the Delhi-Meerut RRTS has seen over 50 lakh commuters. NCRTC officials expect ridership to grow once the Delhi section connects. The 82 km network, with a top speed of 180 km/h, will be fully operational by June 2025, serving 8 lakh daily passengers.
