UP farmer defies science to grow Himalayan apples in 45°C
Farmer Taj Mohammed has defied science to grow Himalayan apples in temperatures around 45°C in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. "People laughed when we planted the saplings, but today those same people come to see the orchard and take photographs," he said. Taj stated he used a special apple variety and mixed coconut husks in soil to grow apples at such temperatures.
