UP govt in talks with Apple to boost electronics manufacturing

Uttar Pradesh government is in talks with Apple and its partners to boost electronics manufacturing investments, state Electronics and IT Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma said. The government is trying to attract component makers and semiconductor projects through new electronics manufacturing incentives. The state is also trying to expand its data centre footprint beyond NCR, Sharma added.
