UP government issued 'Teachers' Guideline-2026' to ensure students' well-being during heatwaves. Schools have been asked to prepare Heat Action Plans and appoint Nodal Teachers. All outdoor activities are to be completed before 10 am, while they shall be suspended during Orange and Red alerts. First aid kits, ORS, and ambulance services must also be maintained. Light-coloured uniforms to be worn.
