UP govt launches welfare scheme for children who lost their parents to COVID-19

Uttar Pradesh government has launched Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana for children who have lost their parents to COVID-19 or the earning parent. The government will provide ₹4,000 per month to a child's guardian till they attain adulthood. Children below 10 years of age who don't have any family members will be taken care of by the state government children's homes.
