UP govt presents its 1st Economic Survey, targets $1 tn economy

Uttar Pradesh government on Monday presented its maiden Economic Survey for fiscal year 2025-26 in state legislature. It laid out a roadmap to position the state as $1 trillion economy. Its Gross State Domestic Product has grown at a compound annual growth rate of 10.8%, rising from ₹13.30 lakh crore in 2016-17 to ₹30.25 lakh crore in 2024-25, survey showed.
