UP labourer earning ₹8,000 gets ₹17 crore income tax notice

A daily-wage labourer in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, earning just ₹8,000 a month, was stunned after receiving an Income Tax notice of ₹17.40 crore. Shivdhani claims his former employer opened bank accounts in his name and routed massive transactions without his knowledge. Police have launched a probe after he alleged fraud and financial misuse.
