UP man arrested for posting fake news about Amit Shah's 'demise'

Uttar Pradesh Police arrested a man from Ghaziabad's Indirapuram for allegedly posting fake news on social media about Union Home Minister Amit Shah's "demise", officials said. The accused, identified as Rohit (34), was arrested after BJP office-bearer Anil Sharma filed a complaint. During inquiry, Rohit allegedly confessed that he had posted fake news to increase followers on his Facebook page.
