UP man catches wife with 'lover', says she gave him sleeping pills

A newlywed man in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, alleged that he caught his wife with another man. He accused his wife of holding his hands while her lover assaulted and attempted to strangle him before neighbours reportedly intervened and helped him. He also claimed she previously spiked his drinks with sleeping pills. Police are investigating the allegations after receiving the man's written complaint.
