UP man held for daughter's death over marriage row

A 55-year-old man was arrested for strangling his 25-year-old daughter to death in Uttar Pradesh's Agra on Monday, police said. The accused, Vimal Sharma, was reportedly upset over her court marriage to an ITBP jawan against the family's wishes. Police registered a case against Sharma, while other family members are absconding, reports stated. Further investigation is underway.
