UP minister Ashish Patel alleges 'life threat' from state's STF

UP Minister for Technical Education Ashish Singh Patel alleged a "larger conspiracy" behind allegations of irregularities in lecturers' promotions. He said the state police's Special Task Force (STF) would be responsible "if anything were to happen to him in this fight for social justice". This comes after SP MLA Pallavi Patel alleged that some 250 lecturers were given undue promotions.
