UP orders legal action over 10,470 Pilibhit voter entry flaws

Uttar Pradesh election authorities have ordered legal action against two Electoral Registration Officers and dismissed a computer assistant after finding irregularities in 10,470 voter entries in Pilibhit Assembly constituency. A computer assistant had entered 13,779 Form-8 applications between May–August 2026, with no supporting records found. Two SDMs have been attached to district headquarters.
