UP plants over 5 crore saplings in a day on World Environment Day

Over five crore saplings were planted across Uttar Pradesh in a single day to mark World Environment Day on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath said. He congratulated all citizens and local organisations which contributed to the initiative, calling it a historic achievement. PM Narendra Modi also congratulated citizens of the state and said such initiatives will help realise a green future.
