UP police assaulted me & made me dance to songs, alleges farmers' leader, shows swollen eye

Farmers' group leader Digvijay Bhati has alleged that the Meerut police assaulted him brutally and made him dance to songs. He showed his heavily swollen eye, claiming he was hit several times in his eye. Meerut Police said that DIG Saharanpur Abhishek Singh has been directed to investigate the matter. He also named Meerut SSP Avinash Pandey for the assault.
