UP policeman gifts Gangajal to complainants for Holi; says 'it's sanitiser'

A police official in UP's Meerut distributed bottles of Gangajal to those coming to the police station to file complaints. Nauchandi police station's SHO Prem Chand Sharma handed out the bottles as Holi gifts and said, "Gangajal is a sanitiser. Spray it to stay protected from all diseases." He added, "On Holi, people shouldn't give liquor...but a bottle of Gangajal."
