UP poll body apologises for 'Thank god Ram didn't beat any minority' post

Uttar Pradesh’s chief electoral office has issued an apology over its controversial post where it said "Thank god Ram didn't beat any minority," while rejecting the allegations of caste bias in its errors. "The genuine outrage generated by the comments in the post has been well noted," it said. "Our communication henceforth will be decorous and formal," it added.
