UP Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act doesn't ban beef transportation: HC

The Allahabad HC has observed that the UP Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act 1955 doesn't prohibit the transportation of beef. Justice Pankaj Bhatia made the observation while allowing a criminal revision plea filed by Vaseem Ahmad, who had moved the court after his bike was confiscated on the allegation that it was used for the transportation of beef.
