UP RERA receives 47,000 complaints since 2017; 76% from NCR cities

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has received at least 47,000 complaints from homebuyers since May 1, 2017. Almost 76% of the total complaints during this period are from NCR cities of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, officials said. Notably, the authority received 7,050, 8,600 and 8,890 complaints in 2022, 2021 and 2020 respectively.
