UP restricts use of tractors as public transport after Kanpur accident

The Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has issued an order restricting the use of tractors as public transport. The order stated that tractors and trolleys should be used for agriculture-related works and transportation of goods only. This comes a day after 26 people were killed when a tractor-trolley overturned and fell into a pond on Unnao-Kanpur road.
