UP's Pilibhit seat, won by under 7,000 votes, has 10,470 suspect voter entries

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Uttar Pradesh, said "irregularities" had been found in 10,470 entries in the electoral roll of Pilibhit Assembly constituency, and ordered legal action against two Electoral Registration Officers (EROs). Notably, in the 2022 Assembly polls, BJP's Sanjay Singh Gangwar had won from Pilibhit seat by a narrow margin of less than 7,000 votes.
