UP saw most dowry deaths, hit & run, kidnapping cases in 2020: NCRB

The data released by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) on Wednesday confirmed that Uttar Pradesh saw the most number of dowry deaths, 2,274, in 2020. UP also recorded a maximum of 13,862 hit and run cases as well as the highest kidnapping cases at 12,913. Moreover, the most number of people, 29, died in UP of medical negligence.
