UP SIR final voter list out, 2.05 cr names deleted & 84 lakh added

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday published the final voter list for Uttar Pradesh following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. A total of 2.05 crore names have been deleted in the final list, and over 84 lakh voters have been added. There are now 13.39 crore total voters in UP, compared to 15.44 crore before the SIR.
