UP teen dies by suicide after harassment by teacher

A 14-year-old Class 8 student in Aligarh allegedly died by suicide after months of harassment by her teacher and his family. Despite a complaint filed in February, no arrests were made, her family said. The accused allegedly threatened her to withdraw the case. Police have now booked them for abetment to suicide and launched a search for absconding suspects.
