Up to 30% salaries of senior Himachal employees to be deferred

The Himachal Pradesh government on Sunday temporarily deferred up to 30 per cent salaries of senior government employees, effective from April. The salaries will be deferred for six months in a bid to tide over the financial distress in the state. Chief secretary, additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, DGP, and top forest officials will see 30% deferment of salaries.
