UP village head allegedly raped Dalit worker over salary slip sign

A village head in Uttar Pradesh has been accused of confining and raping a 40-year-old Dalit sanitation worker who visited his house for a salary slip signature. The woman alleged she was tied up, assaulted and abused with casteist slurs. Police have registered a case under BNS sections and the SC/ST Act. The victim underwent medical examination as probe continues.
