UP woman, who cremates unclaimed bodies, performs tree's funeral

37-year-old Shalu Saini from UP, who is known for performing last rites of unclaimed bodies, organised a funeral for a 200-year-old tree. Saini said it was a call from inside to help the tree in getting "mukti"(salvation). "I felt sad as if I had lost a family elder," she added. The funeral was done following the Hindu cremation rituals.
