UP woman had alcohol with accused at a flat, wasn't gangraped in bus: Police

Police in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut have said the alleged gangrape of a 35-year-old woman didn't take place on a moving bus, as claimed in FIR, but at an accused's flat. They said she had contacted the bus driver, who took her to his flat and invited the conductor. They all consumed alcohol, following which the accused gangraped her, police added.
