UP woman saves ₹12 lakh cash, hides it from husband for 8 years; rats eat savings

A woman allegedly saved approximately ₹12 lakh, hiding it from her husband for nearly eight years. She had kept the money in a trunk at home, intending to buy gold jewellery with the savings. When she opened it, she found rats had gnawed through and damaged many of the notes. A video showing damaged cash has since gone viral online.
