Updated Google Maps imagery shows scale of destruction in Gaza

Updated Google Maps satellite imagery of Gaza has gone viral after showing the scale of mass destruction in the region after Israeli attacks. The imagery showed entire neighbourhoods appearing flattened, widespread refugee camps and vast stretches of land covered in rubble. The imagery around Al-Shifa Hospital, once Gaza's largest medical complex, shows extensive destruction around the site.
