Updated NCERT textbook aligned with NEP 2020 structure

As part of the National Education Policy 2020, NCERT has merged history, civics, and geography into two integrated Class 7 textbooks. The expanded medieval history content reflects the new curriculum’s emphasis on contextual learning. Director Dinesh Saklani said the material aims to provide a balanced and comprehensive overview, encouraging students to critically engage with India’s past.
