upGrad acquires global edtech startup KnowledgeHut

Edtech startup upGrad has acquired Delaware-based global edtech startup KnowledgeHut for an undisclosed sum. Founded by Subramanyam Reddy, KnowldegeHut will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of upGrad and Reddy will be the CEO of the newly merged entity. KnowledgeHut, which operates in around 70 countries and has over 500 teachers onboard, claims to have over 2.5 lakh users.
