upGrad to receive ₹900 cr cash after Unacademy acquisition: Report

Edtech startup upGrad is expected to receive ₹900 crore in cash after its proposed acquisition of Unacademy, taking the company's total capital pool to around ₹1,260 crore, Moneycontrol reported, citing sources. upGrad is set to acquire Unacademy in an all-stock deal reportedly valued at about ₹2,055 crore. The firm also closed an internal funding round of ₹360 crore.
