Upgraded AC local trains to be introduced by 2023 in Mumbai: Report

The new AC local trains with upgraded seating arrangements and increased space are expected to be introduced on Mumbai's railway tracks by 2023, reported HT. The trains will have metro-like interiors with longitude seatings and additional space for passengers to travel inside the train, the report said. The upgraded AC locals will have separate luggage compartments, the report added.
