UPI AutoPay may let users switch apps without losing subscriptions, SIPs: Report

NPCI plans to make UPI AutoPay work across different UPI apps, allowing users to move existing payments without cancelling and setting them up again, Mint reported. This could help users shift subscriptions, insurance premiums, SIPs and loan payments when changing apps. A single view of UPI AutoPay payments could also help track upcoming debits, balances and forgotten subscriptions.
