UPI Goes Global: Indian Payments Now Accepted in These Countries

India's Unified Payment Interface (UPI) services were launched in Sri Lanka and Mauritius on Monday. Later in the day, the Centre's citizen engagement platform, MyGovIndia, shared a world map showing the countries where payments can be made through UPI. The countries highlighted on the world map are - France, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Bhutan, the UAE, Singapore and Nepal.
