UPI records highest monthly transaction volume since its launch

Transactions through UPI touched a record high of ₹29.53 lakh crore and 2,264 crore in value and volume, respectively, since its 2016 launch. The value marked 19% annual growth from ₹24.77 lakh crore in March last year, while volume registered 24% growth from 1,830 crore. The average daily transaction was 73 crore with an average value of ₹95,243 crore.
