UPI response times cut from June 16 to boost payment speed

NPCI has announced revised response times for various UPI transaction types, cutting them down significantly to boost speed and user experience. From June 16, 2025, debit/credit transactions will process in 15 seconds, while transaction status checks and reversals will complete in 10 seconds. Banks and PSPs must upgrade systems to comply, ensuring faster, smoother digital payments across India.
